The Otago Rail Trail can be accessed throughout the year, and has been specifically created for mountain bikers, walkers and horse riders. The Trail follows the old Central Otago branch railway line 152 km from Clyde to Middlemarch passing through many towns along the way, including Waipiata. Waipiata is a fantastic place to take a break for a day or two while travelling the historic trail, and Peter's Farm is an ideal place to explore the local countryside from, with complimentary kayaks, gold pans, fishing rods and breakfast for our guests. Transport to and from Waipiata can be arranged as well if required.
